
Vancouver, British Columbia: Western Uranium Corporation (the “Company” or “Western”) is pleased to announce that it commenced drilling at the Treeline Project in Grants, New Mexico on Wednesday, April 19, 2006. The first phase of drilling is designed to confirm mineralization drilled by Conoco Resources in the 1970’s. Permits have been obtained for six holes, to test both the north and the south trends of mineralization where roughly 2 million pounds of mineralization were defined by Conoco during it’s tenure with the project. Mineralized intercepts will be cored and chemically analyzed. Results from the drilling should be available in the next four to six weeks.
